Zoom Integration Guide
Connect Zoom to automatically create meeting links when clients book appointments with you.
Quick Links
1. Adding the App
You need:
- A PickMyTime account
- A Zoom account
- Permission to connect third-party apps
New User? Connect During Signup
- Sign up at app.pickmytime.io
- Verify your email
- Connect your calendar
- Click "Connect" on the Zoom card
- Click "Allow" on Zoom's page
Existing User? Connect from Settings
- Go to Account → Integrations
- Click "Connect" on Zoom
- Click "Allow" on Zoom's page
You'll see your Zoom email when connected.
2. Usage
Set Up a Service with Zoom
- Go to Booking Page
- Click Add Service (or edit existing)
- Select Zoom as meeting location
- Save
What Happens When Someone Books?
- Zoom meeting is created automatically
- You and your client both get the join link via email
- Meeting syncs to your Zoom account
How to Join
- Click the link in your confirmation email, or
- Find it in your Zoom app under "Meetings"
3. Removing the App
From PickMyTime
- Go to Account → Integrations
- Click "Disconnect" on Zoom
- Type "disconnect" to confirm
From Zoom Marketplace
- Go to marketplace.zoom.us
- Click Manage → Added Apps
- Find PickMyTime → Click Remove
After Disconnecting
- New bookings won't have Zoom links
- Existing meetings still work
- Your data is deleted from our servers
- Your Zoom account is not affected
4. Troubleshooting
Can't connect?
- Allow pop-ups for pickmytime.io and zoom.us
- Clear browser cache and retry
- Work account? Ask your admin to approve third-party apps
Meeting not created?
- Check the service has Zoom selected as location
- Verify Zoom is still connected in Account → Integrations
- Changed Zoom password? Reconnect the integration
Wrong account connected?
- Disconnect in Account → Integrations
- Sign out at zoom.us
- Reconnect with correct account
Links missing from emails?
- Check spam folder
- Verify Zoom is the service location
- Create a test booking
5. FAQ
Can I connect multiple Zoom accounts? No. One per user. Disconnect first to switch.
Will disconnecting delete my Zoom meetings? No. Existing meetings stay in Zoom.
Is my data secure? Yes. We use OAuth 2.0, never store your password, and encrypt all tokens.
Works with free Zoom? Yes. Note: 40-minute limit on group meetings.
What permissions do you need?
- View your email (to display in settings)
- Create meetings (for bookings)
